ArcGIS StoryMaps is an authoring web-based application that enables you to share media elements in the context of narrative text and other multimedia content. Considered a website builder, StoryMaps allows users to create highly stylized, interactive, and narrative projects that combine maps, media, images, text, and embedded web content. The workshop will provide an overview of the functionality and construct a sample site through the process.

Tinderbox, a sophisticated notetaking application designed to capture and analyze complex relationships and ideas, and Zotero, an open-source reference manager used to manage bibliographic data and related research materials.

Web Publishing Series: Representing Yourself and Your Research Online - Part III.
In this workshop, we’ll build a sample project website using a static website generator (Publii). Then we’ll walk through how to host the static site on GitHub Pages. Whether you’re building a website from scratch using HTML & CSS, modifying an existing template, or using a website generator (like Publii), GitHub Pages is an excellent option for hosting your online projects or portfolio.

This workshop will be an introduction to the WordPress Content Management System. It will cover how to navigate the backend dashboard, how to use the WordPress block editor to build a site, and how to import and modify theme demo content to create a WordPress site.

This workshop is an introduction to GIS as part of the 3D Modeling for Research series. It will serve as an overview of spatial data types and formats, as well as an introduction to QGIS.

3D Modeling for Research - Part III.
This workshop will explore using QGIS A Free and Open Source Geographic Information System and Vectorworks, an advanced 2D/3D modeling application to create digital terrain models (DTM) using Global Multi-resolution Terrain Elevation Data (GMTED).
